Colonial Parking is very excited to announce our latest idea in parking innovation – a new loyalty program, Preferred Parker Plus, that provides an automatic 10% off evening and weekend parking reservations to all of our monthly account holders. While loyalty programs exist in many industries, Colonial Parking is the first major operator in the DC Metro Area to offer such a program.
Last summer, Colonial Parking created its own online reservation platform, Preferred Parker Reservations ℠. This July, we expanded those offerings by launching Preferred Parker Plus.
Customer Benefits
On top of 10% off on evenings and weekends, Preferred Parker Plus members also receive guaranteed lower rates, preferential parking inventory and additional promotions. And, their discount is automatically applied to eligible products once they sign into their account for a truly streamlined experience.
Preferred Parker Reservations are integrated with on-site equipment, meaning customers can access Colonial garages via contactless payment and receive seamless entry and exit by simply scanning their unique reservation QR code.

Colonial Parking operates over 280 parking garages regionally and Preferred Parker Plus was designed to capitalize on this network to provide additional revenue opportunities to property managers and owners. This loyalty program adds further value to monthly parking patrons and encourages tenant monthly sign-up, while also increasing the use of under-utilized parking inventory. Additionally, the aim is that once signed-up, Preferred Parker Plus members will use Colonial Parking facilities, even during peak times, thereby incentivizing over 75,000 monthly parkers to utilize our clients’ facilities on a transient basis.
