Bio: Carol is a proud Ugandan immigrant and has been with Colonial Parking since February 2002. She started as a Jr. Customer Care Associate and quickly moved through the ranks to become Manager for Customer Care and her current role as Contract and Strategic Account Specialist.
Tell me a little bit about yourself.
I was hired as a Jr. Customer Care associate – servicing the Monthly accounts for an assigned group of locations. This was all manual when I started, it’s exciting to see almost 20 years later how technology has helped to make us more accessible to our customers. As a CSR I was responsible for all the validation orders and when promoted to Senior Customer Care, I led our new Preferred Parker Program.
What are some of your regular duties as a Contract and Strategic Account Specialist?
My position oversees the acquisition, account maintenance, and purchase order functions. Invoicing via Government portals, maintaining contract rates, and scheduling standard pricing for our monthly parking government contracts and strategic accounts. I’m responsible for all aspects of RFQ, RFP submissions, and all other related government contract specialties.
Why do you like working at Colonial Parking?
I like the diverse group of employees and customers that I’m privileged to work with every day. There is never a dull moment here, it feels like a family.

I’m a good listener, I’m patient, I pay attention to detail, I like challenges and learning new things. I’m a team player.
