On September 20th and 27th, Colonial Parking’s Human Resources Department hosted career fairs at our headquarters in Georgetown. Candidates were able to meet with numerous managers to share their experience and qualifications. Colonial’s recruitment coordinator, Steven Hargrove, said of the event: “It was a really great event to put on. It was extremely valuable to both our managers and candidates. The fair allowed our managers to see many candidates within a short window while also allowing our candidates to evaluate multiple roles and determine where they best fit.”

This is a new idea for Colonial, but it will definitely be repeated. The career fair was a big success in finding several great new employees and drastically reducing the amount of time our managers spent interviewing candidates.  In total, we had 45 attendees and 19 new hires across the two fairs.
